The CIP-5XS is the smallest pelletiser in our product range and is ideal for producing small quantities of dry ice on-demand.
The machine has the capacity to produce up to 35 kg/h (80 lbs/h), only weighs 115 kg and is manufactured to be placed on a table.
The CIP-5XS machine is an excellent partner for medical centers, laboratories, small catering companies, etc.

Diameter dry ice pellets
CIP-5 pelletisers can be delivered with different extrusion dies. The pelletiser can produce 3 mm dry ice pellets for cleaning and 10 or 16 mm dry ice sticks for cooling and other applications. Switching from pellets/sticks can be done in a few minutes!
The CIP-5XS pelletiser offers a versatile and economical solution for producing your own high density dry ice.
Making dry ice is simple but note that besides investing in this machine, one needs to rent or purchase a pressure tank to store the liquid CO2 that is supplied by a local gas company (it does not work with CO2 in cylindres). It becomes economical to have your own installation if you need 150 kg/week or more.
The CRYONOMIC® hydraulic pelletiser with a silent motor, fed by liquid CO2 from a pressurised tank, turns the liquid into CO2 snow, which is then compressed to form solid pellets.
